Join Friends of Taconic State Park’s Vice President Jim Mackin for The Magnificent 7 Tree Tour. The tour will honor the trees in Taconic State Park around the historic Copake Iron Works and feature seven trees that are special in some interesting way. The tour will be an easy walk of about 1 mile and last less than 2 hours. Meet at the Taconic State Park office at 11:00 AM. Bring a bottle of water and wear sturdy walking shoes. Binoculars would be useful for looking into the canopies of the featured trees.
