Noted succulent collector, rare-plant nursery owner and garden designer Katherine Tracey of Avant Gardens Nursery will give a slide talk called “Succulent Love” at 11 AM at the Roeliff Jansen Historical Society Museum in Copake Falls. At 1:30 PM, Kathy will give a hands-on succulent-container workshop, where attendees will make their own potted creations. It’s all part of Garden Conservancy Open Day at Margaret Roach’s Copake Falls garden, where a daylong plant sale by Broken Arrow Nursery is also held from 10-4; profits from the succulent events support Friends of Taconic State Park.
